General OverviewWe are looking for a Project Manager with a strong technical background and experience in manufacturing, fabrication, automation, and industrial installations.You will be responsible for developing business opportunities, preparing technical and commercial quotations, coordinating internal and external resources, managing projects from the opportunity identification stage through final delivery, and ensuring compliance with technical, financial, operational, quality, and safety requirements.The ideal candidate must be highly organized, customer-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and act as the primary liaison between the client and internal operations, ensuring that each project progresses efficiently and meets established commitments.Main ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development and Customer Service
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients.
Identify opportunities to generate new projects and services.
Conduct technical visits to clients to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.
Act as the main point of contact between the client and the organization.
Provide technical advisory related to manufacturing, machining, fabrication, maintenance, and industrial automation.
Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals.
Provide continuous follow-up on quotations, open opportunities, and projects in progress.
Maintain constant communication with clients to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Comprehensive Project Management
Manage projects from the quotation phase through final delivery and installation.
Coordinate activities between engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, fabrication, CNC, quality, logistics, and installation.
Monitor project progress on a daily and proactive basis.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously at various execution stages.
Identify risks, delays, cost overruns, and potential bottlenecks.
Properly prioritize urgent projects, critical orders, and special client requests.
Ensure that all projects have the necessary information before moving to the next stage.
Keep clients and internal teams informed regarding the progress of each project.
Quotation Preparation and Technical Evaluation
Develop accurate technical and commercial estimates.
Evaluate client requirements and determine the necessary processes to complete the project.
Determine required materials, resources, labor, production times, engineering, fabrication, and installation.
Coordinate with supervisors and technical leads to validate times and processes.
Analyze technical feasibility, costs, and profitability of projects.
Consider materials, fabrication, machining, welding, external services, installation, and logistics within estimates.
Manage required reviews and approvals before project release.
Engineering and Technical Development
Interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
Take measurements and conduct field surveys when necessary.
Clearly define scopes, objectives, and success criteria for each project.
Coordinate engineering requirements for new developments and modifications.
Verify materials, critical dimensions, tolerances, and functional requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are viable and manufacturable.
Purchasing, Materials, and Resources
Coordinate the acquisition of materials and services needed for projects.
Verify inventory availability before generating purchases.
Manage material lead times and supplier delivery schedules.
Coordinate rented machinery, special tools, and external services when required.
Monitor the impact of supplier delays on project schedules.
Ensure that necessary resources are available before starting production or installation.
Production and Operational Follow-Up
Perform constant follow-up on projects across different operational areas.
Coordinate activities between fabrication, CNC, assembly, welding, and other production processes.
Conduct periodic walkthroughs of the plant to verify progress.
Resolve operational and technical issues that may affect project execution.
Confirm that client specifications are being correctly met.
Facilitate communication between production and the client when necessary.
Quality and Delivery
Ensure that projects meet established technical and quality requirements.
Verify that work is inspected before delivery.
Coordinate quality control activities when necessary.
Ensure that delivered products and services meet client expectations.
Coordinate deliveries, logistics, and required documentation for the successful closure of each project.
Installations and Field Services
Coordinate installations, maintenance services, and activities at client facilities.
Verify that assigned personnel have adequate tools, materials, and resources.
Coordinate logistical activities related to installations and external services.
Develop clear work plans for field activities.
Maintain constant communication with the client during installation work execution.
Conduct follow-up visits to validate progress and resolve contingencies.

Ensure that no project proceeds without corresponding risks having been evaluated.
Verify that activities are executed in accordance with established safety procedures.
Ensure that involved personnel have the necessary training to perform their activities.
Coordinate the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Identify potential risks during quotation, planning, fabrication, and installation.
Participate in incident investigations and the development of corrective actions.
Actively promote a safety culture in all activities under your responsibility.
Stop any activity that represents an unsafe condition for workers, the client, or facilities.
Administration and Document Control
Maintain complete and organized records of assigned projects.
Ensure that technical, commercial, and operational documentation remains updated.
Follow up on approvals, client requirements, scope changes, and project records.
Coordinate documentation required for fabrication, installation, and project closure.
Guarantee information traceability and compliance with established processes.
Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement
Proactively identify improvement opportunities for clients and internal processes.
Effectively resolve technical, operational, and commercial problems.
Develop action plans to mitigate risks and minimize project impacts.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at productivity, quality, and safety.
Contribute to the development of best practices in industrial project management.
Candidate RequirementsAcademic Background
Completed Bachelor's Degree or Engineering in:
Mechanical Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Mechatronics
Automation
Manufacturing
Mechanical Design
Industrial Maintenance
Or related disciplines
Experience
Minimum of 12 years of experience in:
Industrial project management.
Manufacturing and metal fabrication.
Industrial automation.

Coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
Technical Knowledge
Solid knowledge in industrial manufacturing, metal fabrication, CNC machining, welding, and automation.

Knowledge of industrial materials, properties, applications, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to develop technical estimates considering materials, production times, manufacturing, engineering, and installation.
Knowledge in planning and execution of industrial projects.

Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
